The Pecan House makes homemade candy and cakes with Mississippi-grown pecans. The family-owned business is owned by Phyllis and Billy Shoemake. The original location, in McHenry, MS, was founded by Phyllis' mother Barbara in 1984. A few flavored pecans were sold in the beginning and the products were expanded to fruit cakes and home décor items.
